Aiming at the complex surface of hull and the forming process of 5083 aluminum plate, a new process of electromagnetically assisted wire heating forming of aluminum plate was proposed. The technological device and experimental process of electromagnetic-assisted wire heating forming of aluminum plate were introduced. The results of electromagnetic-assisted wire heating forming were proved by the experimental data. Aiming at the electromagnetic-force assisted wire heating forming process of 5083 aluminum plate supplied by Dongguan 5083 aluminum plate, 3D numerical simulation was carried out by ANSYS software, and the influence of electromagnetic force assisted time and pulse current amplitude on the electromagnetic-force assisted forming effect was studied. On this basis, from the perspective of periodicity of pulse electromagnetic force and cyclic loading and unloading of load generated by electromagnetic force,5083 aluminum plate supply explored the forming mechanism of aluminum plate in the process of electromagnetic force auxiliary wire heating forming.
